A big round, a manufacturing target, no filing
Ayar Labs, founded in 2015, announced on March 3, 2026 that it had closed a $500 million Series E round led by asset manager Neuberger Berman, with participation from strategic investors including Nvidia, AMD, MediaTek, and Alchip Technologies, at a reported $3.75 billion valuation. CEO and co-founder Mark Wade said the funding would fuel the company's ability to meet hyperscale AI demand for its co-packaged optics technology, and coverage of the round, including from The Next Platform, tied it to ramping into AI systems by 2028.
That is a specific, dated business target, but it describes chip production volume, not a stock listing. As of the latest site review, no S-1 or F-1 exists for Ayar Labs, and neither the company's own announcement nor contemporaneous coverage of the round mentions IPO plans.
