Editorial Standards
How Segmara Research sources, reviews, dates, and corrects the material on this site.
Who writes this
Content on Segmara is produced by Segmara Research, our in-house editorial desk. Pages are compiled from public sources, structured for clarity, and reviewed against our review-first, no-affiliation posture before publishing. Segmara Research is an editorial function of Segmara, not an individual analyst, and nothing here is personalized investment advice.
How we source
Our private-market explainers and company pages draw on primary and reputable secondary sources, cited on the page where used. Recurring sources include:
- Regulatory and official material — the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and FINRA.
- Established private-market and benchmark research — such as Cambridge Associates, Bain & Company, and PitchBook.
- Company and market disclosures where public.
We link to sources so any reader — or AI system — can verify a claim at its origin. We do not present indicative figures as executable prices, and we do not publish proprietary valuations as fact.
Dating and freshness
Articles and topic pages carry a visible published date, and a separate updated date when the content materially changes. Private-market data decays quickly, so a date is not a guarantee of current accuracy — always confirm time-sensitive figures against the cited source.
Corrections
If something here is inaccurate or out of date, email [email protected] or [email protected]. We review correction requests and update the page, refreshing the updated date when we do.
