Why investors search for Crusoe access
Crusoe has become one of the more closely watched private names in AI infrastructure. The Denver-based company builds energy-first AI data centers and a GPU cloud platform. Its own newsroom said in June 2026 that contracted AI infrastructure capacity was approaching 5 gigawatts across data centers and cloud.
That scale is showing up in Crusoe's private funding trajectory. An October 2025 Series E close of $1.375 billion implied a valuation above $10 billion, and by September 2026 Bloomberg reported a further raise of more than $3 billion at a valuation of roughly $30 billion, co-led by Atreides Management and Valor Equity Partners, according to people familiar with the situation cited by Bloomberg on September 3, 2026. A rising valuation trend plus real bank engagement on a potential IPO is exactly the combination that sends investors looking for pre-IPO access.
